Celebrating 50 Years as the Elkins public library!
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY!
The Elkins-Randolph County Public Library is offering a time for students in grades 9-12 to use the library...all to themselves! There are many advantages to using the library right before returning to school each week.
Crunch Time will provide high school students an opportunity to complete group projects, study for tests and quizzes, obtain textbook help when yours is left in your locker, use our digital Launchpads to prep for SAT/ACT exams, find copies of required reading materials, use the computers, and get assistance with writing papers, annotation, understanding valid
resources and more.
Each week we will also provide presentations for topics like , basic finance skills, applying for college, completing the FAFSA, researching colleges and careers, dorm life, college athletic recruitment, filing taxes, and more!
We even let you EAT IN THE LIBRARY! Bring a snack, drink or something to share. Bring your secret stash of candy.
We don't care! We are truly making it your library to get what you need..
even a snack.
We don't make you do homework. Or research. Or study. Or listen to a Tip Topic. Or even read. We are here with expert help if you need it. We are also here for you to just hang out.
CRUNCHTIME is temporarily suspended until all risk of COVID-19 transmission has been eliminated. Check back here or on our Facebook page for updates.
Normal CRUNCHTIME hours are from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. every Sunday evening.
