Our Mission is to be a group of citizens who promote understanding of the library, its programs, its resources and its needs. Meeting monthly, we gather to support the Elkins-Randolph County Public Library in its goals, providing volunteer assistance, books, materials and financial help when needed.

4th THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH AT 4:00 P.M. more when necessary.
Next meeting is September 19, 2024 4 P.M. at our temporary location at 209 Randolph Avenue
Our bi-annual fundraiser allows us to support the library's mission throughout the year. Help is appreciated in the form of staffing, setup, teardown and of course, book donations. .
Friends of the Library, also known as Bookhounds, hold an annual Chocolate Friendzy the second week in February. Join our group for a free sampling of chocolates.
The Bookounds provide volunteer, monetary and consulting support for the Elkins-Randolph County Public Library.

The Elkins Bookhounds are over 145 strong and growing. Our officers are a force to be reckoned with and provide administrative support for our powerful organization.
