There are many opportunities to get involved with your local library! From cleaning and sorting to helping with specific events, the library has lots going on throughout the year. We honor student volunteer forms from local high schools, and have specific needs for various events. Whatever your talent or skill, we can certainly use it!
The Elkins Bookhounds are your library's Best Friend! This group of supporters is made up of local men and women who provide their talents and skills to raise funds through charitable events and programs in the community. Like other Friends of the Library groups, they meet regularly and discuss your library's current needs and projects and plan for a dependable and sustainable means of support.
The Kroger Family of Companies is committed to community engagement, positive social impact and charitable giving at the national and local levels. You can make a BIG impact on services and programs by donating based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your Card to your library, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card.
Your library strives to meet your needs every day. Current projects include everything from increasing inventory to adding a building addition to support all the needs of the community in the 21st Century.
